Halloween fun

This year's Halloween seemed to be one party after another. First, Eddie and I threw a party with our friend's Dino and Dawne. This is our 3rd year doing it with them - they've been doing it for probably 10 years. We had an AWESOME night. Wonderful costumes, live DJ, drinks, jello shots, food and GREAT friends- what more could you want?

Cinderella and The Fairy God Mother

Me, John McCain and Sarah Palin

Dawne and Dino

Mel and Debra

Carmen and Pedro - Black Butterfly & The Joker

Keith and Cathy

Duane and Holly - Mother Nature and Father Time

Justin and LaTonya - Priest and school girl

Jason and Natasha - He's the plug, she's an outlet
Greg and Allison

Doug and Lisa
Bob and Mary - E-male (get it??) and she's the attachment

On Wednesday At AWANA they had a Harvest Party. The kids weren't allowed to wear anything scary. Hunter's costume was a skeleton so we borrowed C3PO from a friend. He ended up winning second place! They had a great time throwing darts, fishing, bean bag toss and my favorite, the cake walk.

Isn't Elvis adorable??

On Thursday, Eddie's unit had a "Trunk-or-Treat". Everyone decorated their trunks and the kids trick-or-treated from trunk to trunk. People are pretty creative. I love the shark trunk. There was also a truck that was decorated to look like a coffin and the guy had his teenage son lying in it like a vampire. He was holding the bowl of candy!

On Halloween our neighbors threw a party for all of the kids. They played a game where you had to wrap your partner up in toilet paper like a mummy. Hunter was paired with Cody's dad and they ended up winning. Stacy had fun crafts for the kids and lots of yummy treats.

It had POURED all day on the 31st, but miraculously around 4pm the sun came out. We had PERFECT trick-or-treating weather.

After the party, Dino and Dawne came over with their twins Sophia and Carley and the trick-or treating began. We went around 3 blocks before the kids pooped out. Hailey wanted to stay home and give out candy and Hunter and I hit another block. Once we got home both Hunter and Hailey had a ball giving away their candy to the trick-or-treaters! We were more than happy to get rid of it. Even after giving it away, we still ended up with two gallon size ziplocs full. Eddie and I have been picking out the good stuff!

Great Halloween pictures! Eddie is the scariest Fairy godmother I've ever seen. How are Keith and Cathy? I haven't seen them in years.

I still think eddie looks great dressed up as a woman. I almost skimmed right over the photos at first because I didn't recognize him!

sounds like you had a blast on halloween. so many events!

Weirdest thing, we showed up at church one day and Keith and Cathy were there! Small world.
