The LONG walk to school

When I grew up out in the boonies we had to walk clear down our private, gravel road, through the snow in our moonboots to catch the bus. I kid you not it had to be 1/2 mile but seemed like four. You know the old stories. So now my kids can talk about the HUGE hill they have to walk up to get to school. Luckily moonboots are a fashion of the past. Now it's UGG boots.
